Maureen Maher is an American television journalist who currently works as a correspondent for the CBS News program "48 Hours." She has been with CBS News since 1999 and has covered a wide range of high-profile stories, including the Casey Anthony trial, the Boston Marathon bombing, and the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting.
Prior to joining CBS News, Maher worked as a reporter and anchor for various local news stations, including WJRT-TV in Flint, Michigan, WJBK-TV in Detroit, Michigan, and WJBK-TV in Jacksonville, Florida.
